In January, 1992, through faith, a seed was planted for a new ministry in the city of Gilroy. The vision for a church was shared in a restaurant with one other couple besides the Pastor.

For several weeks, Bible study was held in various homes and at Lyon’s Restaurant in Gilroy.  Many others would begin to join with them.  Souls would be saved in Bible study, while others would find a new source of power through God’s Word.

The small group kept the faith and an open ear to the voice of God.  They requested of God a place in which to worship Him.  Prayers were miraculously answered; God opened a door for His Church to share a conference center in the Forest Park Inn.

On March 15, 1992, the first service was held.  Since then, souls have been added to the church, such as should be saved.  In December of 1995, Bethany Church moved to 7449 Eigleberry Street, and on September 1, 2001 we expanded to a second campus located at 8095 Kelton Street with a 1:00 PM Service.
In 2003, our ministry grew again with a Spanish speaking ministry within the Bethany family.

At the beginning of 2008, we have launched Bethany Community Church in the city of Los Banos, California. A special anointing has been placed on the leadership of this ministry to address the needs of God’s people.
